According to the report, Tyson had agreed to a $2 million deal in January with Rabona, a sports betting site, but canceled it in March, the same day his fight with Jake Paul was announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/landing\/multigame-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/assets\/feria24\/ice-london-termino-y-se-despidio-la-feria-en-imagenes-mgl.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tyson claims that Medier, a Cyprus branding agency that promotes online betting firm Rabona, breached the deal by using his name in a press release and creating three websites without his approval. The agency issued a statement saying it was for a streaming event and did not need his approval, and the websites directed to a page that Tyson had approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/now-tysons-fight-is-in-the-courts2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medier filed the lawsuit on Oct. 2 in the United Kingdom, arguing that Tyson\u2019s decision to terminate the agreement was \u201cinvalid\u201d and that the breach of contract caused them great financial losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medier contends that Tyson walked away from the deal to avoid making appearances in Europe, which directly coincided with the promotion of his fight with Jake Paul last July.
