GIF said the overall reduction was <strong>\u201cmainly due to the decrease\u201d<\/strong> in reports from the <strong>gaming sector<\/strong>, suggesting fewer flagged patterns\u2014or shifting detection and reporting dynamics\u2014among Macau\u2019s casino operators. The data also highlight the enforcement pipeline: GIF disclosed it <strong>disseminated 118 STRs to the Public Prosecutions Office<\/strong> during 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For comparison, it sent <strong>142 STRs<\/strong> to prosecutors in 2024.
