The ruling was issued by a bench comprising <strong>Justice J.B. Pardiwala<\/strong> and <strong>Justice R. Mahadevan<\/strong>, who rejected industry arguments and confirmed the legitimacy of tax claims pursued by the <strong>Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI)<\/strong>. Industry exposure is estimated at more than <strong>\u20b92.5 lakh crore<\/strong> (approximately <strong>US$29 billion<\/strong>), making it one of the most consequential fiscal cases in the history of the gaming sector.
