International tourism was the main growth driver, with foreign arrivals rising by nearly <strong>22%<\/strong> compared with the same period of 2025. In <strong>May alone<\/strong>, Jeju recorded <strong>241,555 international visitors<\/strong>, up <strong>12.6%<\/strong> year-on-year, while domestic tourism declined <strong>7.1%<\/strong>. <strong>China<\/strong> regained its position as Jeju&#8217;s largest inbound tourism market. The tourism strategy is being promoted by <strong>Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor Oh Young-hun<\/strong>, together with the <strong>Korea Tourism Organization (KTO)<\/strong>, whose <strong>Acting President is Seo Young-chung<\/strong>, and the <strong>Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism<\/strong>, headed by <strong>Minister Yu In-chon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"808\" height=\"114\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/jeju-and-inspire-strengthen-south-koreas-foreigner-only-casino-industry3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17476\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/jeju-and-inspire-strengthen-south-koreas-foreigner-only-casino-industry3.png 808w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/jeju-and-inspire-strengthen-south-koreas-foreigner-only-casino-industry3-300x42.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/jeju-and-inspire-strengthen-south-koreas-foreigner-only-casino-industry3-768x108.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 808px) 100vw, 808px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tourism rebound is directly benefiting Jeju&#8217;s leading foreigner-only casinos, including <strong>Landing Casino<\/strong> at <strong>Jeju Shinhwa World<\/strong>, <strong>Jeju Dream Tower Casino<\/strong> operated by <strong>Lotte Tour Development<\/strong>, <strong>Paradise Casino Jeju Grand<\/strong>, <strong>Lotte Hotel Casino Jeju<\/strong>, <strong>Maison Glad Casino Jeju<\/strong> and <strong>Jeju Sun Casino<\/strong>, all of which continue to capitalize on the return of Chinese and other Asian visitors.
