In early 2020, Genting Singapore confirmed interest in pursuing a casino permit in Yokohama, Japan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman,serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,serif\"><span style=\"font-size:large\">In May 2021 it was identified as a qualified bidder in Yokohama&rsquo;s process to host an integrated resort (IR).
