From the first day of February, the Colombian Unit of Information and Financial Analysis, UIAF, will begin with a new strategy that seeks not only to open a space for feedback and strengthening with several sectors regarding the topic of prevention and detection of money laundering and financing of terrorism, but become an active learning space for all sectors and especially for compliance officers.<\/font><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This strategy is virtual Forums specifically aimed at the compliance officers of the different sectors and created with the aim of improving the understanding of risks, the exercise of the report and the Risk Management Systems of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (Sarlaft due to its Spanish name).<\/font><\/p>\n

The first Virtual Forum is on Friday, February 1, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., and the first sector summoned to the UIAF Forums will be the Gambling sector.<\/font><\/p>\n

For these forums, the RocketChat tool, which can be accessed through the link http:\/\/chat.uiaf.gov.co<\/a><\/span>, will be used, however, some preliminary steps must be done for the registration explained below:<\/p>\n

<\/font>1.<\/b> Enter from your web browser to the URL http:\/\/chat.uiaf.gov.co<\/a><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

2.<\/b> Click on “Register a new account”. In the field “Name” indicate your SIREL user (for example: BINGOABC or CASINO 123), the email registered in SIREL, assign a password and in “Reason” Forum UIAF-JSA.<\/font><\/p>\n

It is important to register maximum 48 hours before the session.<\/p>\n

<\/font>3.<\/b> To your email will come a verification link, click on the link. Check in your inbox and \/ or SPAM the reception of this email.<\/p>\n

<\/font>4.<\/b> After these first three steps, the UIAF will receive your registration request and in the next few hours it will be validated and authorized.<\/p>\n

<\/font>5.<\/b> Once authorized you can log in by entering again at http:\/\/chat.uiaf.gov.co<\/a><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n


6.<\/b> A private group will appear according to your economic sector to chat with the participants and the UIAF at the established time (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.).<\/font><\/p>\n
