According to the <strong>European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA)<\/strong> and <strong>consultancy H2 Gambling Capital<\/strong>, the gambling industry in the region generated \u20ac123.4 billion in 2024, of which \u20ac47.9 billion came from online gaming, representing around 39% of the total market. Projections indicate that the digital segment could surpass \u20ac58 billion by 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, a significant share of this activity takes place outside national regulatory systems. In Germany alone, more than 10,000 lawsuits have been filed by players against online operators, with claims exceeding hundreds of millions of euros.
