The initiative, which builds on Law No. XIV-3080 of 2024<\/strong>, aims to record all deposits and winnings, track player behavior and strengthen responsible gambling mechanisms. The system will be supervised by the Gambling Supervisory Authority (Lo\u0161im\u0173 prie\u017ei\u016bros tarnyba)<\/strong>, under the Ministry of Finance and headed by Virginijus Dauk\u0161ys<\/strong>, which will gain expanded powers starting May 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state collected \u20ac86.9 million in taxes<\/strong>, reinforcing gambling as a relevant fiscal contributor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
