That responsibility lies with the <strong>Ministry of Finance and Economy<\/strong>, headed by <strong>Andrzej Doma\u0144ski<\/strong>, through the <strong>Gambling Market Regulation and Gambling Tax Department<\/strong>, led by <strong>Beata Skuzi\u0144ska<\/strong>, with <strong>Pawe\u0142 Bie\u0144kowski<\/strong> serving as Deputy Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market is governed primarily by the <strong>Gambling Act of November 19, 2009<\/strong>, while AML\/CFT obligations derive from the <strong>Act of March 1, 2018 on Counteracting Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/landing\/multigame-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9622\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulatory pressure comes as Poland\u2019s betting market becomes increasingly digital. In <strong>2025<\/strong>, legal betting generated approximately <strong>PLN18.76 billion (\u20ac4.44 billion)<\/strong> in turnover, up <strong>14.19% year on year<\/strong>, while the online channel accounted for <strong>93.5%<\/strong> of the total. <strong>STS, Betclic, Superbet and Fortuna<\/strong> together represented around <strong>85.4%<\/strong> of the market.
