The first encourages parents of young people aged <strong>16 to 25<\/strong> to discuss the risks associated with gambling, video games, and digital advertising. The second promotes self-exclusion through <strong>Cruks<\/strong>, a national register that allows individuals to block access to licensed gambling operators for a minimum of <strong>six months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"708\" height=\"440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-80.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19867\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.6065573770491803;width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-80.png 708w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-80-300x186.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 708px) 100vw, 708px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <em>Bj\u00f6rn Fuchs<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy follows research published on <strong>August 20<\/strong>; <strong>41% of new accounts<\/strong> opened by players aged 18 to 24 belonged to 18-year-olds, while <strong>28% of underage vocational education students<\/strong> reported gambling during the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, <strong>Bj\u00f6rn Fuchs<\/strong>, chairman of VNLOK, filed a lawsuit against Meta on <strong>September 28<\/strong> before an Amsterdam court, citing obligations under the European <strong>Digital Services Act<\/strong>. According to industry research, more than <strong>90% of gambling advertisements examined on Facebook<\/strong> promoted unlicensed operators. Meta removed just <strong>11% in May and 15% in June<\/strong> of the illegal advertisements identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"825\" height=\"476\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-81.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19868\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7323529411764707;width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-81.png 825w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-81-300x173.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/11\/image-81-768x443.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 825px) 100vw, 825px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Roos Lawant<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulatory report published on <strong>October 29<\/strong> recorded <strong>1.48 million active online gambling accounts<\/strong> during the first half of 2026, compared with 1.38 million previously, and approximately <strong>820,000 players<\/strong>. Although <strong>94% gamble exclusively with licensed operators<\/strong>, these operators capture only <strong>59% of estimated online GGR<\/strong>, up from 54%.
