Privately owned hedge fund Parvus Asset Management owns a 14.3% share in one of UK&rsquo;s largest gambling operators.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mundovideo.com.co\/assets\/contenidos\/the-biggest-bet-house-of-uk-on-sale1.jpg\" alt=\"THE BIGGEST BET HOUSE OF UK on sale !\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">William Hill, whose<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>UK retail business is greatly dependent on the FOBTs<\/strong>, as well as its investors are looking for ways to prepare the company for whatever the future may be holding.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"5\">The major bookmaker has not had its most shiny times over the past several years.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">Its<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>underperforming online division and bettor-friendly<\/strong><span><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span>results at the 2016 Cheltenham Festival dragged the company&rsquo;s full-year profit lower than originally expected. William Hill&rsquo;s name was involved in two potential merger and acquisition deals last year. <span><a href=\"\/europa\/no-william-hill-in-the-australian-open\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #00f; text-decoration: underline;\" rel=\"noopener\">(READ SO NO WILLIAM HILL IN THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN)<\/a><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">In mid-2016 the company was presented with two offers to be acquired by<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>888 Holdings and the Rank Group<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>The bookmaker rejected both bids as it was not particularly content with the price offered.
