The law took effect in January, but the blocking of foreign gaming websites will begin next month.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/assets\/bannersprin\/popup\/POPUPheraing.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">At the beginning of this month the country granted the first four licenses of online operation to land-based casinos.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">Swiss players will be able to bet online only with casinos and national lotteries that pay taxes in the country and take measures to protect people from gambling addiction.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font size=\"4\">A list of unauthorized gambling providers will be published on the websites of the Federal Gambling Commission and the Lotteries and Betting Commission. Those who are blacklisted will be automatically blocked by the Swiss telecommunications service providers by means of DNS blocks (domain name server). Only websites accessible from Switzerland will be blocked.
