The January 20 resolution requires operators to obtain a license <strong>for each individual cruise ship<\/strong>, limits the authorization to cruises meeting the official criteria, and requires a <strong>performance bond of RD$20 million<\/strong> or its U.S. dollar equivalent before operations begin. The regulation also mandates prior disclosure of internal casino rules to the ministry, including gaming modalities, betting limits, prizes, security controls and sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The compliance push goes beyond licensing.
