The decision was formalized through <strong>Exempt Resolutions No. 821 and No. 822 dated August 11, 2026<\/strong>, and published in the <strong>Official Gazette on August 18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/mve-ads\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/ADS-MVE.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16352\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/ADS-MVE.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/ADS-MVE-300x250.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SCJ determined that both companies failed to fully comply with the legal and regulatory requirements established in the Technical Bidding Terms. The process had begun on <strong>April 17, 2025<\/strong>, through Exempt Resolutions <strong>No. 394 and No. 398<\/strong>, and was later amended by <strong>Resolution No. 400 dated April 21<\/strong>, clarifications issued in June, and <strong>Resolution No. 672 dated July 17, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18205\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7740963855421688;width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tender was also suspended for <strong>90 days<\/strong> under <strong>Resolution No. 913 dated October 10, 2025<\/strong>, following changes to Puerto Varas\u2019 Municipal Regulatory Plan. The final submission of bids took place on <strong>January 19, 2026<\/strong>, at the SCJ headquarters in Santiago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18206\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.6638418079096045\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded3.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded3-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded3-768x461.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dreams submitted its bid through Inversiones y Turismo Puerto Varas S.A., while Corporaci\u00f3n Meier competed through Sociedad Quiquilhue S.A. The latter challenged its exclusion and said it had invested <strong>more than US$1 million<\/strong> in structuring, architecture, engineering and applications for <strong>Puerto Varas, Coyhaique and Chilo\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"582\" height=\"329\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18207\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded4.png 582w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/08\/chile-leaves-puerto-varas-casino-license-unawarded4-300x170.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 582px) 100vw, 582px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The original bidding terms included a <strong>Minimum Guaranteed Economic Offer of UF 5,000 per year<\/strong> for the Municipality of Puerto Varas, additional investments of between <strong>UF 5,000 and UF 5,500<\/strong> in urban infrastructure, and employment continuity requirements for part of the workforce at the current casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/landing\/multigame-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9622\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/multigame-diamod-III-700-eng-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SCJ, headed on an acting basis in August 2026 by <strong>Eduardo C\u00e1ceres Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong>, must now open a new process under <strong>Law No. 19,995<\/strong>.
