On <strong>October 27<\/strong>, the <strong>Senate&#8217;s Economic Affairs Committee<\/strong>, chaired by <strong>Gast\u00f3n Saavedra<\/strong>, began its article-by-article debate. One day earlier, President <strong>Jos\u00e9 Antonio Kast&#8217;s<\/strong> government submitted <strong>114 pages of amendments<\/strong>, signed by ministers <strong>Jorge Quiroz<\/strong> (Finance), <strong>Daniel Mas<\/strong> (Economy), <strong>May Chomal\u00ed<\/strong> (Health), <strong>Fernando Rabat<\/strong> (Justice), and <strong>Claudio Alvarado<\/strong> (Interior).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Undersecretary of Finance <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n Vallebona<\/strong> presented amendments covering advertising bans, identity verification, blocking illegal platforms, and a proposed effective tax rate of <strong>22%<\/strong>.
