We interviewed the president of Fecoljuegos about the actual situation that the sector is going through and this is what he told us.<\/font><\/p>\n

MV: We know that a video is circulating through networks where Senator Alejandro Corrales has exposed his position in the face of the current situation of the industry with Coljuegos. What is your opinion regarding the position of the senator?<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

EM<\/strong>: Well, I think it is precisely a call that comes not only from the sector but also from the legislature to apply the rule created in the National Development Plan. I applaud that intervention of the senator and many more, even in the Gaming Market we had the president of the chamber, senator Abraham Jiménez who has been in a very important battle for the sector, many other parliamentarians and congressmen who have been watching that apply this, understanding the need that the sector has to strengthen, energize each day more. MV: Do you think that this political pressure is important knowing that this is a right acquired by law, having been published in the National Development Plan of President Iván Duque<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

EV:<\/strong> yes, unfortunately it seems that the regulator has not understood the spirit of the norm, and we are precisely in that work, to talk with them, to explain to them, that they understand that this is the only way that the sector continues to evolve every day. and becoming dynamic, giving operators the opportunity to pay for what is sold and not with presumptive fees that go against the government’s policies.<\/font><\/p>\n

MV: Do you think that Coljuegos is choosing by finger and convenience to whom to apply the law, with the intervention of President Juan B. in the Gaming Market, ensuring that there are 12 contracts that can enjoy the new legal charge if they comply with reliability and connectivity, taking into account that reliability has not yet been regulated<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

EV:<\/strong> if it is very difficult besides there are differential rates, we consider that this should not be so, that should be applied to all contracts in the same way not only to new ones once all those conditions are met, we still do not know which They are all those conditions and we are very concerned.
