{"id":2563,"date":"2022-08-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/colombian-gambling-news\/petro-will-ask-coljuegos-to-pay-taxes-as-never-before\/"},"modified":"2022-08-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T00:00:00","slug":"petro-will-ask-coljuegos-to-pay-taxes-as-never-before","status":"publish","type":"gambling","link":"https:\/\/www.mundovideo.com.co\/en\/colombian-gambling-news\/petro-will-ask-coljuegos-to-pay-taxes-as-never-before\/","title":{"rendered":"Petro will ask Coljuegos to pay taxes as never before"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,serif\"><span style=\"font-size:large\">With the new bill presented by the team of the recently inaugurated President, Gustavo Petro, several tax changes are proposed through a &quot;Tax Reform for Equality and Social Justice&quot;, where 2 points are highlighted that are especially directed to the gambling industry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,serif\"><span style=\"font-size:large\">As first point, the general income tax rate applicable to national corporations and\/or legal entities with or without residence in the country, obliged to file the annual income and complementary tax return, would be thirty five percent (35%).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,serif\"><span style=\"font-size:large\">In addition, Coljuegos would have to pay a 9% rate on the income obtained.
