Several Pennsylvania casinos saw a massive increase in table games revenue in April, especially the ones related to poker, according to the latest report released by the state’s gaming control board.
The 12 casinos combined to generate $277.8 million dollars in revenue in April, with $77.5 million dollars of that coming from table games, a 3.7% increase over last year’s numbers.
Slot machines saw a slight decrease year-over-year with $200.4 million dollars in revenue, a 2.8% drop.
Slot machines made up the majority of the tax revenue taken by the state. Of the $118.19 million dollars in tax revenue across all forms of casino gambling, slot revenue generated $104.3 million dollars of it.
Pennsylvania sports betting operators saw their second-best month of the year. The books won $4.2 million dollars after a total handle of $36.76 million dollars.
