Jaunpur, is a man who would be an alcoholic and gambling addict would have bet on his wife in a poker game after running out of money, and once he lost he would have allowed his friends to sexually abuse her, this in the Jaunpur city, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The police initially refused to register the victim's complaint. However, the woman's lawsuit proceeded once the assault approached a court. The man allegedly let his wife be raped after losing in the poker game.
The woman went to a relative's house after the incident, to where her husband followed her to apologize to her.
The victim agreed to return to her home with her husband, however, during the way back the man stopped and allowed the subjects to abuse her again.
