At the WSOP Circuit Florida, a past cup grinder came to the FT and after countless breaches of the rules, he ended up kicked out of the tournament.
The story came from the Brazilian player Rafael Reis, who was also part of the final table, and it started very late on the penultimate day of action with eight players still in contention.
“Before the final table, he had received about three warnings. He was drinking and cursing a lot”
The escalation of misbehavior ended with a one-turn off-the-table punishment, but he not only stayed but also started insulting those present.
And so, after five penalties, finally, Reis points out, the player was sent off. The ejected player took home a prize of US$23K, while the champion was Mike Chiappetta for US$200K
