Here's a look at the Top Ten for this year's first Global Poker Index Player of the Year ranking:
1. Jeremy Ausmus, 2039,09 points
2. Tony Lin, 2027.13
3. Justino Saliba, 1780.13
4. Alex Foxen, 1574.21
5. Antonio Hu, 1517.70
6. Bin Weng, 1485,85
7. Michael Rossito, 1467.48
8. Dylan Linde, 1462.30
9. Adrián Mateos, 1397.29
10. Preston McEwen, 1391,95
All of these players and many others have yet to finalize their full list of qualifying tournaments. With that in mind, this list could look completely different when we see it in a couple of months. The battle has just begun for those seeking Global Poker Index Player of the Year honors.
There are a couple of familiar faces appearing in the next few slots. High Roller resident Justin Saliba has racked up enough points for third place, while former POY Alex Foxen wins fourth. Rounding out the Top Five for the GPI POY is Anthony Hu, but he's only about 554 points behind Ausmus (a couple of solid tournament results) for first place.
