The MGM national harbor is a resort worth 1,4 billion dollar, located in Oxon Hill, Maryland which opened back in 2006, December 8. But now they will take advantage of the great success that has given them the poker.
The casino first features included 39 poker tables, however, they have initiate an expansion plan where they poker room now will host 46 of them. Additionally, the poker room will be moved from the first floor to the second floor of the property.
Through the first half of 2018, MGM National Harbor raked $10.4 million from its non-banked poker tables, the most among the state’s four casino poker rooms.
“We never anticipated the volume we’d have at this property, that was the decision maker to move poker to the second floor.” Said the casino’s president Melonie Johnson (pictured).
The expansion also included the addition of about 260 slot machines.
