On Thursday, WPT announced that the first episodes to air on the CBS Sports Network will cover the action leading up to and including the final table of the 2023 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.
Under the multi-year partnership, the network will then air all new episodes for Seasons XXII and XXIII, which begin this year and in 2025, respectively. WPT highlighted coverage of the 2023 WPT World Championship, which has $40 million guaranteed, as well as the ClubWPT Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll.
“We are incredibly grateful to partner with a top-tier network and cannot wait to share a wealth of premium poker programming to the vast CBS Sports audience,” WPT CEO Adam Pliska said in a statement.
The World Poker Tour® has signed a multi-year agreement to make CBS Sports Network the exclusive television partner of WPT® premiere episodes, beginning this November with Season XXI action.
Initial episodes to air will show the playdown and final table of the 2023 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship, highlighting Josh Reichard’s path to becoming a WPT Champion.

Throughout the exclusive partnership, CBS Sports Network will ultimately air all episodes from Season XXII and XXIII, including series featuring the 2023 $40M-guaranteed WPT World Championship as well as the upcoming ClubWPT™ Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll.
