Sports betting operators are increasing their footprint in Brazilian women’s football, with the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino A1 attracting new sponsorship deals as the league gains visibility.
Start Bet, a licensed Brazilian bookmaker, has become the master sponsor of the tournament’s decisive knockout phase. Its branding was displayed prominently during the semifinals — Corinthians vs. São Paulo and Palmeiras vs. Cruzeiro — marking a significant step into women’s football for the betting sector.

In a statement, Rodolfo Maia, Managing Partner at Start Bet, highlighted the opportunity: “Women’s soccer is experiencing significant growth in Brazil, and investing now helps consolidate this momentum. Being present in the Brasileirão is a natural step for us.”

The sponsorship arrives at a key moment, with Brazil preparing to host the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, a milestone expected to accelerate the professionalization and commercial appeal of women’s football nationwide.
While men’s clubs in Série A already count on more than R$1.1 billion per year in betting sponsorships, the women’s league is now beginning to mirror this trend. Industry observers see the Start Bet deal as a sign that bookmakers view the women’s game as both a strategic investment and a platform for brand exposure. Beyond pitchside ads, the campaign includes social media activations, influencer partnerships and a community engagement plan aimed at positioning Start Bet as a leader in responsible sports betting.
