The GAT Expo CDMX 2025 concluded this week at the Expo Santa Fe Convention Center, positioning itself as one of the most important gaming industry gatherings in Latin America. The two-day event, held August 27–28, brought together more than 300 leaders, including regulators, operators, suppliers, and associations, to discuss the future of the region’s gaming sector.

The event kicked off with the GAT Academy, a training and debate forum focused on regulatory frameworks, technological innovation, and the challenges of building sustainable growth in both land-based and online gaming. Experts highlighted the need for balanced legislation that promotes market expansion while safeguarding consumer protection.
One of the event’s standout moments was the Latin American Gaming Associations Summit, where industry leaders announced the creation of RELazar (Red Latinoamericana de Asociaciones de Juego), a new network aimed at fostering cooperation and alignment across the region. The initiative underscores a growing commitment to regional integration and joint advocacy on regulatory matters.
In addition, GAT signed a strategic agreement with the International Federation of Gambling (FIJA), strengthening ties with global institutions and reinforcing Latin America’s presence on the international gaming stage.
Exhibitors showcased a wide range of innovations, from next-generation slot machines and multigame cabinets to AI-driven sportsbook solutions. Panels also addressed hot topics such as responsible gambling, cybersecurity, and the role of data analytics in driving competitive advantage.

“Mexico has become a natural hub for Latin America’s gaming agenda,” said one speaker during the summit. “Events like GAT CDMX show the industry’s willingness to work together on regulation, technology, and sustainable growth.” Economically, the Expo reaffirmed Mexico City’s strategic role in hosting international trade fairs, generating significant business opportunities and strengthening the country’s image as a regional leader in gaming. As the Latin American market continues to evolve, GAT Expo CDMX 2025 demonstrated that collaboration and innovation will be the cornerstones of its future.
