The main headquarters of several gaming companies, located in Valencia, suffered considerable damage due to the heavy rains and floods that recently hit the area. The Spanish gaming community has expressed its deep solidarity and condolences in the face of this tragedy, and has offered its facilities in Palma de Mallorca to centralize and store donations.
This collaboration will speed up the logistics of collecting and sending aid to Valencia. SOS Mamás, a well-known volunteer group supporting families in vulnerable situations, will be in charge of coordinating the delivery of these supplies, which will leave in a container bound for the impacted areas next Thursday.
Campaign details
The initiative invites citizens to collaborate with the donation of various items, including:
- Non-perishable foods: preserves, canned goods, baby food, whole milk or formula, and breakfasts.
- Personal hygiene products: diapers, sanitary pads, sanitary and hospital products.
- Cleaning tools: brooms, shovels, masks, and gloves.
- Work equipment: boots and other necessary material to collaborate in the cleaning and reconstruction work.
