This October, the casino industry’s sharpest card slingers and roulette spinners will step into the spotlight as the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) launches its first-ever US Dealer Championship in Las Vegas.
Set to take place October 7–8 at The Venetian Expo, the new competition aims to honor the skill, precision, and charisma of America’s top table-game dealers—professionals often considered the face of the casino floor.

The event is open to dealers from licensed, land-based casinos across the U.S., with each venue eligible to nominate one contestant. Participants will be tested in two of the most iconic games in the industry: blackjack and roulette, each in a fast-paced 15-minute round. Judging will be based on technical accuracy, speed, game control, and customer interaction.

“It’s time to recognize the talent and showmanship our dealers bring to the gaming floor,” said Korbi Carrison, G2E’s event vice president. “They’re a huge part of what makes the casino experience memorable.”

Inspired by the European Dealer Championship, the U.S. version adds a new layer of excitement to G2E 2025, which is already the biggest trade show for gaming professionals in North America. Finalists will walk away with cash prizes and industry recognition, but more importantly, the event puts front-line talent at the center of industry attention.
Dealers, often overlooked despite their critical role, now get a chance to shine—not just for their hands-on skill, but for the energy and personality they bring to the table.
