Montreal, Quebec – In September 2025, Loto-Québec reported an 11% increase in revenue within its casino gaming sector, marking a significant boost in the current fiscal year. This surge contributed to the corporation’s overall performance for fiscal 2024–2025, where total revenues neared $3 billion and net income surpassed $1.5 billion. The casino segment alone generated over $1.2 billion, supported by a portfolio of more than 2,000 online games and diversified entertainment offerings.
Jean-François Bergeron, president and CEO of Loto-Québec, highlighted this achievement as a reflection of the organization’s resilience amid global economic challenges. “I’m truly proud of the results we’ve obtained, especially given the challenging global context. This growth benefits all of Quebec through our increased community contributions,” Bergeron stated.

Operating under the strict regulatory framework of Quebec’s legal gaming regulations, Loto-Québec functions as a government corporation dedicated to responsible gaming and community reinvestment. The 2024–2025 revenues demonstrate compliance with regulations aimed at preventing problem gambling, including direct contributions exceeding $36 million to prevention programs.

This revenue increase enhances Loto-Québec’s capacity to reinvest in Quebec communities, with a net income of $1.518 billion fully allocated to public benefit initiatives. The casino sector’s performance helps offset reduced discretionary spending, reflecting operational efficiency and sustained market confidence. Additionally, supplier contracts and employment are impacted positively, with $455 million in purchases from Quebec-based companies.
As Loto-Québec solidifies its role in the competitive gaming market, this financial momentum sets the stage for continued economic contributions to Quebec and raises considerations around regulatory and social oversight.
