The Boyd Gaming Corporation, one of the largest and most successful casino entertainment companies in the United States, has announced the reopening of 13 of its 29 properties, 9 of which are in the state of Nevada.
Casinos will operate with limited services and restrictions based on established laws. The protocol to guarantee health and safety in Boyd Gaming Corporation establishments has been called "Boyd Clean" and includes the following measures:
- Mandatory use of masks and temperature controls for all employees
- Social distancing requirements and capacity restrictions in all customer and employees, including casino and restaurant areas
- Continuous cleaning and sanitation of all high-contact surfaces, including door handles, gambling machines, board games, handrails, and elevator buttons
- Location of hand sanitizer dispensers
- Training for all team members on security protocols.
On the other hand, they announce that:
All casinos will have slot machines and video poker available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, following social distancing requirements.
Board games will be available in certain casinos. The seats will be limited according to the requirements of social distancing.
