Three arrested in tampa for operating illegal gambling house

Published date: 2025-02-13

Tampa police arrested three individuals accused of running an illegal gambling operation at the All Stars Tampa Domino Club on West Waters Avenue. The suspects, identified as Marcelino Perez (67), Charlie Parilla (32), and Kendrick Franklin (29), were taken into custody following a 14-month investigation.

According to authorities, undercover officers placed multiple bets at the establishment before executing a raid. During the operation, police seized several computers used for illegal gambling, over $12,000 in cash, and a semi-automatic pistol.

The venue, which operated under the guise of a domino club, allegedly served as a front for high-stakes betting activities.

The suspects face multiple felony charges, including violations under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, illegal gambling, and possession of unauthorized gaming devices. Tampa police emphasized that the crackdown is part of a broader effort to dismantle underground gambling networks operating in the city.

Investigators are urging anyone with additional information about illegal gambling activities to come forward as they continue to monitor similar operations in the area.
