Century Entertainment seals 3-year revenue-share deal for 10 APAC gaming apps via PAGCOR-accredited partner

Published date: 2026-02-25

Hong Kong-listed Century Entertainment International Holdings Ltd has formalized a new Operating Agreement with Philippines-based World Platinum Technologies Inc (WPT) to develop and monetize 10 mobile gaming applications aimed at Asia-Pacific markets excluding the Philippines, using WPT’s proprietary online gaming platform.

The agreement was signed on 13 February 2026 and sits under Century’s joint-venture structure in which Century holds 51% and WPT 49%. Century said the model is designed to accelerate rollout without needing to build core platform technology from scratch, while leveraging WPT’s PAGCOR-accredited infrastructure and compliance capabilities.

Commercially, the deal shifts the partnership into a performance-based structure. Under the HKEX disclosure, WPT retains a 15% “Runner’s Fee” from Net Winnings (defined as revenue derived from GGR after mandatory gaming taxes, regulatory levies and the Runner’s Fee), while the JV company receives 85% of Net Winnings for its game logic development, customization, data analytics and commercial strategy services.

Operational separation is a central theme of the arrangement. Century’s filing states the JV company acts as an upstream technology partner and does not interact with players, handle player funds, conduct KYC/AML, or undertake regulatory reporting. Those regulated functions—player onboarding, fund management and reporting (including to the Central Monitoring System)—remain with WPT and licensed venue operators under the PAGCOR framework.

The term runs for three years, with automatic one-year renewals unless either party terminates with at least 90 days’ notice. ASGAM reported WPT’s share is settled monthly and that Century currently expects annual payments to be under HK$3 million at this stage, underscoring a “light-capex” pathway to expand into digital gaming across the region.
