On March 25, 2026, DigiPlus Interactive Corp reinforces its role as one of the most influential players in the Philippine gaming industry, within a market that exceeds $5 billion in annual Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) and continues to expand, driven by the digital segment.

According to PAGCOR, led by its chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco, DigiPlus is part of a working group tasked with drafting new iGaming legislation, at a time when the online sector is becoming a key driver of growth and fiscal revenue.

The process remains in the drafting stage — with no official name for the law yet — but it aims to strengthen licensing, platform control, financial monitoring, and the fight against illegal gambling, with the goal of capturing greater value from an ecosystem generating billions of dollars and playing an increasingly important role in government revenues.

At the same time, the company is accelerating its land-based expansion under the leadership of its president Andy Tsui, with the creation of an integration team to operate a new casino at the New Coast Hotel Manila, a strategic asset in the capital that has historically generated hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue within the urban casino circuit.

This dual strategy highlights a unique position: DigiPlus is not only competing in the market but also helping shape its rules. In an environment where gaming represents a critical source of public revenue channeled through PAGCOR, the company’s role takes on structural importance.

The convergence of commercial expansion and regulatory participation reflects a shift in the Philippine model—from fragmented growth toward a more coordinated ecosystem between the State and the industry, where control and monetization of the sector are advancing in parallel.
