Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has appointed Eileen Lui Wai Ling as Executive Director, a strategic move that not only enhances its leadership team but also consolidates the Lui family’s legacy within one of Asia’s most powerful gaming empires.

Eileen, the sister of GEG Vice Chairman Francis Lui, has been a central figure in the company for over three decades. Since joining in 1993, she has played a pivotal role behind the scenes, most recently serving as Group Director of Human Resources and Administration since 2014.

Her elevation to the board is significant—not only because of her extensive corporate experience, but also because she holds over 1.36 billion shares in GEG through direct and trust-linked interests. She will receive an annual salary of MOP$6.37 million (approx. USD 795,000), along with performance-based incentives.

Eileen holds an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Canada) and a BA in Economics from UCLA. Her appointment is seen as a key step as GEG advances its Phase 4 expansion of Galaxy Macau, reinforcing the company's governance and family-rooted strategic vision. As the Macau gaming landscape becomes more competitive, Eileen’s leadership symbolizes both continuity and transformation, blending professional expertise with generational stewardship.
