Kangwon Land Casino in South Korea, is located in the eastern Gangwon Province is the only casino in the nation that allows locals and foreigners to gamble alongside each other.
This casino has reached an agreement within the local government to end their activity a bit early, in order to help the fight against gambling problems.
By agreeing to close its casino floor two hours earlier every day in order to reduce the time customers can enjoy its range of games on a daily basis to 18 hours.
However, some experts affirm that the Casino has become a victim of its own success. Because this is not the first time that local politicians have been targeting the venue over the excuse of problem gambling concerns. The 2018 Winter Olympics that will take place by this time of the year, expected to make the venue even more lucrative thanks to the thousands of tourists turning up to see athletes compete in 102 events spread across 15 sports.
