Macau is raising its glass to culture and creativity this week as the 5th Macau–Qingdao International Beer Carnival takes over the Wynn Palace casino on the Cotai Strip from 6 to 16 November 2025. The 11-day celebration brings together craft beer, gastronomy, and live entertainment, marking another step in Macau’s strategy to diversify tourism beyond gaming.
The event, co-organised by Wynn Resorts (Macau), Asia Brewery (Macau) and the Macau Leisure Tourism Services Innovation Association, bridges the best of both worlds: Qingdao’s legendary brewing heritage and Macau’s luxury hospitality and entertainment industry. Supported by government agencies from both cities, the carnival aims to strengthen cultural and commercial ties between China’s beer capital and its casino resort hub.
More than 50 international and regional beer brands, including the new Tsingtao Extra Light, headline the festivities. Visitors can enjoy themed food markets, DJ sessions, and nightly shows that turn the Wynn Palace promenade into a vibrant open-air festival. Organisers expect tens of thousands of guests, with hotel occupancy and F&B revenues already seeing an uptick across the Cotai area.
