With the beginning of selective isolation in the country, more cities have opened their casinos, we have seen how in the cities of Medellín, Cali, Cartago, Yopal, Santa Marta, Manizales, Ibagué and Itagüí each of these cities have done so with some conditions that differ between them.
Through Decree 0826 of August 31, 2020, Mayor William Dau Chamatt of Cartagena authorized the reopening of the casinos, but established some measures for their operation.
In the city there are 18 registered casinos, all of them have biosafety protocols approved and enabled to operate in accordance with María Claudia Peñas, who is the District's advisor for economic reactivation.
However, some of the conditions for casinos to operate again began when they had to register on the platform stipulated by the Mayor's Office, include documentation such as: certificate of existence, documentation of the legal representative, biosecurity protocols established in Resolution 000666 of April 24, 2020, and its technical annex.
Now for its operation, they must comply with a schedule between 6 in the morning until 10 at night. Players must have pick and ID or make a reservation in advance to enter the casino
The personnel who work in the casinos must be duly identified and accredited with the documents that attest to the exercise of their functions and activities, and they must be registered by their employer on the page authorized by the Mayor's Office.
Verification of compliance with these measures and the biosafety protocols is the responsibility of the Ministry of the Interior, the District Administrative Department of Health (Dadis), the National Police and other authorities, who may also apply the sanctions established by law.
