Coljuegos. In its fight against illegality and the search for being the entity that contributes to the construction of a better country, on December 26, Coljuegos published to the community a reflection of its work in 2016.
The regulatory entity carried out a study, elaboration and filing of more than 450 criminal complaints, for the alleged commission of the crime of the Unlawful Exercise of Monopolistic Activity. In addition, 20 criminal charges were filed for alleged Fiscal Evasion.
In the action, Coljuegos gave rise with its support to the work in the prosecution of more than eight people for crimes related to the exercise of monopoly rents without the respective authorization, along with the sentence of conviction of three persons identified as operating Illegal Gambling points without authorization of Coljuegos.
Finally, with investigators expert in the crimes that are related against the illegal monopolistic rent, it was possible to advance more than 200 meetings with the dispatches of prosecutors; This in order to achieve greater procedural momentum in the complaints that are presented to Coljuegos in the national territory.(read so.
