Bogotá, September 26, 2025 – The Colombian capital played host to a vibrant edition of GAT Expo Bogotá 2025 yesterday, confirming the city’s position as a hub for Latin America’s fast-growing gaming sector.
Held at the Sheraton Bogotá Salitre, the event brought together leading global suppliers, local operators, and trade associations for a full day of networking, product launches, and regulatory updates. More than a dozen major brands, including IGT, Novomatic, Win Systems, Pragmatic Play, BetConstruct, PlayGroup, RPCol, Mobadoo, Mer Design, and Gem Solutions, showcased their latest technologies. Industry associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos, and Fedelco also had a strong presence on the exhibition floor.

As special exhibitor, Coljuegos, Colombia’s national regulator, highlighted the industry’s sustained growth. Official figures showed that in 2025, land-based games transferred COP 566.6 billion (USD 145 million) to the health system, marking a 26.9% increase year-on-year. Meanwhile, online gaming and sports betting generated COP 206.9 billion (USD 53 million) in the first half of the year, up 9.5% compared to 2024, despite the impact of the 19% VAT.
Novomatic attracted attention with exclusive activations of its Magic Games and Impera Line multigame platforms, along with progressive jackpots. Visitors also welcomed cabinets first unveiled at GAT Cartagena earlier this year.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT, praised the Bogotá turnout and confirmed the circuit will continue with stops in Puerto Rico (October) and Santo Domingo (November). The event closed with optimism: Colombia’s mix of robust regulation, innovative suppliers, and engaged operators continues to position it as one of the most dynamic gaming markets in the Americas.
