Coljuegos published the addition to the project of agreement by which Agreement 03 of 2021 is modified, which substituted title 2 of Agreement 08 of September 16, 2020 by which the regulations of the games of chance of the national order of competence of Coljuegos are approved.
With this addition, the entity seeks to give a new air to the so deserted bidding process of Baloto, which after three attempts has not been able to get a supplier to join the challenge of operating it.
Thus, with this new move, the operator of the game must pay at least twenty-four point five percent (24.5%) of the gross income of the game for the Baloto and Revancha draws, as well as the percentage determined by the Board of Directors of Coljuegos for exploitation rights for the additional online lotto and/or complementary mechanics.
It is worth mentioning that previously this percentage was 27%. In addition, the other change made by the entity in this addition was that the operator of the game will allocate to the promotion of the game an additional 0.55% to the minimum foreseen in article 2.7.1 and in article 2.9.3. (advertising expenses sub-account) of the gambling regulation.
With these two new variations, Coljuegos hopes to obtain a new operator for the Baloto and that it does not disappear, as it has been speculated.
