Following the guidelines of national decree 1168 of August 25, 2020, where the national government gives the green light to the gambling sector for its national reactivation, and supporting the recent announcement of the total reopening in Medellín, the Municipality of Itagüí Under Decree 732 of August 28, 2020, it adopts the measures established by the government and gives the reopening of casinos.
In this way and complying with the instructions for selective isolation and responsible individual distancing. The city of Itagüí in article number four, establishes that until October 1, the casinos will be able to operate until 11:00 pm, complying with all the established biosafety protocols, including the non-sale of intoxicating beverages.
Compliance with these measures will be evaluated weekly to have control over their impact on the behaviour of the COVID-19 infection rate.
In addition, casinos must have a seal that guarantees compliance with the protocols, which will be issued by the municipal administration. In order to obtain it, the operator must file these protocols with the mayor's office to obtain the respective approval.
However, the municipal government will carry out a verification process led by the secretary of health and the development department, who will be the ones who will finally issue the seal that guarantees economic openness in a responsible and safe way.
Yopal is as well opening casinos once again
With the issuance of Decree 195 of 2020 on August 27, the mayor of the Municipality of Yopal, Luis Eduardo Castro, in use of his constitutional and legal powers and in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, began with all the preparations to regulate a plan pilot with the aim of reopening the games of luck and chance.
In this way, the mayor under this decree complies with the provisions of the national government, however, it establishes eight requirements so that casino and bingo operators who want to be part of this pilot plan must comply:

3. Comply with the established schedules.
4. Comply with the security conditions
5. Develop the activity or object registered in the commercial registration.
6. Maintain and present the proof of having the payment up to date on the musical works that are reproduced.
7. Register to participate in the pilot plan
8. Send biosafety protocols.
So, recapitulating these requirements, the operators who wish to apply to participate in this pilot plan, must register on the website https://yopalcasanare.gov.co/ in the "registro de empresas" section.
Additionally, the biosafety protocols must be sent to the email covid19@yopal-casanare.gov.co with the subject "pilot test biosafety protocol and establishment name", these need to be in accordance with resolutions 666 and 1359 of 2020 issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. In addition, the personnel that will work in these commercial premises will have to be registered in virtual platforms for monitoring Covid-19.
With these pilot plans, then, it is how the economic sectors in the city of Yopal and Itagui will gradually be reactivated. The inhabitants are expected to follow the biosecurity measures so that the control, prevention and mitigation of Covid-19 can be achieved together.
