UK amusement and gaming trade association Bacta has appointed Simon Bradbury as its new Head of Social Responsibility and Compliance, reinforcing its commitment to safe, ethical, and sustainable operations within the regulated entertainment sector.
Bradbury, who previously served as Regional Compliance Officer at Praesepe, brings nearly two decades of frontline and regulatory experience to the role. He will be tasked with overseeing social responsibility initiatives, ensuring members adhere to best practices, and supporting the transition to Bacta’s upcoming Compliance and SR platform.

This strategic promotion follows Bacta’s long-term vision to modernize its compliance infrastructure and place social responsibility at the heart of its operations. CEO John White highlighted Bradbury’s deep understanding of the sector, stating: “Simon combines practical operational knowledge with a passionate commitment to safer gambling. He’s the ideal candidate to lead this crucial area.”
Bradbury will begin his new duties this month, playing a pivotal role in aligning Bacta’s members with evolving regulatory standards and expectations from the Gambling Commission.
