The biggest ever ICE London got off to an energetic start with a street-dance routine which mirrored the ‘Stronger Together’ theme. In the Esports arena, the Shesports Cup franchise raised the profile of women pro gamers, with the world’s best female FIFA players taking on members of the public. And the influence of ICE London’s Consumer Protection Zone continues to grow, with a record 20 stands this year - a 14 per cent increase on last year’s edition of ICE.
As visitors streamed into ExCeL for the record breaking global gaming event, a flashmob of dancers appeared from within the crowds.
Twelve startup companies won their place at the Pitch ICE hub for 2023 in a competition which required them to submit a two minute video pitch. Each of the winning companies has 15 minutes to showcase their companies, solutions, and innovative approaches to the audience as well as their stand presence at the hub. Today will see pitches from startups in responsible gambling to sports broadcast media. Both days also feature a 12pm networking slot for entrepreneurs, industry and investors.
