A PAGCOR-licensed Poker House will soon open at Limketkai Center. This after the Cagayan de Oro City Council passed a resolution interposing no objection on the application of GenSan Poker and Sports Club to operate a venue at Limketkai that runs and profits from poker games.
The application was earlier endorsed by the Committee on Games and Amusement chaired by Hon. Roger Abaday and Committee on Laws and Rules led by Hon. Ian Mark Nacaya.
“Application of Poker House in Limketkai approved The city council agreed to the application of GenSan Poker and Sports Club to operate a PAGCOR-licensed Poker House at Limketkai Center in barangay Lapasan. This is after the council's session on Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn "Bebot" Rodriguez adopted a resolution expressing approval or' no objection to the operation of the company. The adopted resolution was supported by the games and amusement committee of Councilor Roger Abaday and the legislation committee of Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya. ”
PAGCOR recently reported GGR from PAGCOR operated casinos of Php4.83 billion (US$88 million) in 4Q22, up from Php4.63 billion (US$85 million) in Q3 although still well below the Php9.17 billion (US$169 million) reported in 4Q19. Total GGR from PAGCOR casinos through FY19 was Php37.1 billion (US$683 million).
