Coljuegos published the document with the technical requirements that the slot machines must fulfill for the new settlement payment stipulated in the PND law.
The document determines the specifications for the storage, disposal, use and traceability of the information under certain control parameters; detailing security requirements, operation and management of the technological components.
Beginning in this way, in the general requirements, Coljuegos, seeks to confine the player's security regarding the design of the machine's furniture so that there is no element that could lead to any physical injury. For online connections, slots may be designed to connect or communicate with a server or networks through the Internet for which they must comply with two security requirements, among which is that the encrypted data transmission must use a Private Network Virtual (its abbreviations in English VPN), Layers of sockets insurance (Its abbreviations in English SSL) and Protocol of Internet Safety (His Abbreviations in English IPS).
On the requirements of Software / Logical Support must conform to the following specifications: possess a generator of random numbers that must determine the final result, as well as the choice of the elements or symbols of the game; the game program must necessarily respect the result of the numbers determined by the random generator, which according to the best practices of the industry must have a minimum reliability of 95%.
However, random number generators can be of nature:
a) Logic: are computer files stored in read-only memories that include the computational implementation of mathematical algorithms for obtaining sequences of unpredictable numbers.
b) Mechanics: set of mechanisms that can be controlled in their operation by computer programs and that will be responsible for generating a sequence of unpredictable numbers.
Finally, the control information refers to the significant events that are generated from a game element and are sent through the interface element to the SCLM, for which there must be a mechanism for timely notification.
It is not permissible for significant events to be sent to the system as a generic error code, these shipments must include at least the following:
- The date and time the event occurred.
- NUC (Unique Number of Coljuegos), of the game element that generated the event.
- NUID (Unique Digital Identification Number), of the game element that generated the event.
- An exclusive number / code that defines the event (ranging from 01 to 09)
- A short text that describes the event.
In the document Coljuegos states that it reserves all the faculties to define the detail of the procedures, requirements and technical conditions that, by their very nature, may be subject to changes derived from technological innovation.
For the elaboration of this document, the information regarding international standards, standards and technical regulations was taken into account.
Compliance by operators of everything contained in this document must be reviewed and certified by the laboratory or laboratories endorsed by Coljuegos for this function.
