After the two protests carried out by the casino union in the city of Bogotá, the district government contracted to hold working groups with the actors of the sector and, consequently, visits were agreed to verify compliance with the biosafety protocols.
The visits ended two days ago with the Rio Casino. The scores obtained in these visits to different casinos were between 9.5 and 10, with 10 being the maximum possible score to obtain, which is very positive for the reopening of the sector in the capital of the country.
To coordinate the reopening strategies and define the date, a meeting was scheduled with the district government, the interior ministry, and the national government, but due to the protests that occurred at the national level that affected public order and city security, it had to be postponed. .
It is expected that, in the coming days, the district government will announce the date of reactivation of the casinos in the city after the visits made and the ratings obtained.
