The Colombian gaming regulator, Coljuegos, announced during this week that it authorized the operation of the instant win games for the games operated online through Agreement 02 of March 30, 2021, and established the conditions for its implementation.
In addition, it was established that within this modality, it is not possible to operate permanent betting mechanics (chance), traditional lottery, instant lottery (scratch), pre-printed lotto, online lotto or SUPER astro.
According to the regulator, through the agreement, the category of instant win games is defined as a series of counterpart games in which, in exchange for paying a bet value for the game, the user is granted the possibility of predicting the number, letter, image, symbol and/or the combination, sequence or pattern among them, which must coincide with the result of a random number generator (RNG) as determined by the rules of the game.
