The Argentine Chamber of Casinos, Bingos and Annexes (CASCBA) denounced 18 influencers, youtubers and celebrities whom it accuses of promoting clandestine gambling through illegal sites. Among those mentioned are the dancer Flor Vigna, the journalist Flavio Azzaro and the media Kami Franco.

The presentation assures that those targeted were criminally denounced for “capturing illegal online bets” on different platforms and social networks, such as Instagram, X, YouTube and Twitch. According to the statement from the Chamber of Casinos, this complaint is added to the 350 presentations in Justice that they made against illegal sites. In addition, it occurs in the context of an awareness campaign launched during the Copa América that has the support of the Argentine State Lottery Association (ALEA) and the active participation of the Buenos Aires Lottery (LOTBA).
“The complaint is a fundamental step towards the protection of minors, who can only gamble on illegal sites, and of consumer rights. The impact of these actions goes beyond the immediate legal implications: the aim is to send a strong message to the digital community and the online entertainment industry. The promotion of illegal and dangerous activities cannot be tolerated and those who decide to engage in such practices will face the corresponding legal consequences,” said the entity’s officials.
