Coljuegos through resolution 20201200007894 established some measures with which it will help the country's casinos, since from Friday they had to close until April 13 due to the ban on crowding of more than 50 people in any type of space.
Among those measures, Coljuegos allows the suspension of the contracts of the casino operators while the quarantine that begins today and ends on April 13. This is a necessary action for the industry in the midst of the health emergency decreed by COVID-19 and which comes to clear the doubts generated by the press releases circulating in this regard.
The suspension of the terms in the procedures related to localized games of luck and chance, that is, requests for expansion or new contracts that the operators have sent to Coljuegos in recent days will not take effect until revoke this suspension
The procedures for the suspension of contracts will be led and delegated to the head of the Legal Office, for its granting and no additional requirements will be required from the authorized ones to the duly supported application. at the rate of being an event of force majeure by COVID-19.
Thus, this resolution allows casino operators who CONSIDER that a manoeuvre regarding the permanence in business is necessary to do so without being penalized.
