Rock & Brews Casino Braman is advancing a new expansion phase in Oklahoma that reinforces Kaw Nation’s long-term commitment to land-based casino gaming, combining gambling, entertainment and hospitality along a strategic corridor near the Kansas border.
The project officially broke ground on May 11, 2026, at the property located at 9525 US-177, Braman, Oklahoma, near Interstate 35, Exit 231. Its centerpiece will be R&B Live, a new 25,000-square-foot multipurpose venue with capacity for 1,000 people, designed to host concerts, comedy shows, boxing, MMA, trade shows, private meetings, community gatherings and Kaw Nation cultural activities.
The expansion will also add a 21-site RV park, with each space providing water, electricity and sewer hookups, as well as a 1,200-square-foot clubhouse featuring restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The announced target for this component is August 2026, although a formal opening has not yet been confirmed. R&B Live is scheduled for completion in May 2027.
Bruce McClure
The casino is owned by Kaw Nation and operated through Kaw Gaming Inc., chaired by Bill Schutte. Kimberly “Kim” Jenkins is the current Chair of Kaw Nation, while Bruce McClure serves as General Manager of Rock & Brews Casino Braman. The Rock & Brews brand was created by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, together with Michael Zislis and Dave and Dell Furano. Its CEO is Adam Goldberg, although gaming operations remain under tribal control.
Primary regulation falls under the Kaw Nation Gaming Commission, pursuant to the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. Class III gaming is also governed by the Kaw Nation-Oklahoma compact, effective since March 11, 2005. The NIGC maintains federal oversight, with William “Billy” Kirkland serving as Vice Chairman since June 2026.
The expansion team includes Winterrowd Talley Architects, MASKA Builders as Construction Manager and Connect Advisors. The investment amount has not been disclosed, but the project’s scale confirms a clear strategy: transforming a casino offering more than 400 games into a broader regional entertainment and hospitality destination.
