For 19 years the Fadja fair has been the catalytic event of the game in Colombia that has undoubtedly contributed to the expansion of the industry.
This event has been changing over the years and has become professionalized, to the point of decreasing the number of exhibitors, as there are few real companies that exhibit there.
I remember the panorama of the first fairs where there were dozens of small modules where they offered the visitor from metal buttons (idea that I found the most stupid, incidentally) for poker machines, to programs to steal the unsuspecting player, done this that now does not happen as we have all learned and when we go to the fair is to learn not to back down.
Little by little they begin to consolidate and offer different events that do not seem to me to improve the sector: If you have the same speakers always talking about issues that are not relevant; The showroom of the Medellin -which never had a clear north-, The business showcase to be held in October that is nothing more than a recorder of what Fadja was 19 years ago and does not represent the industry, And the new show is the Online show room that is presented in November for the online game sector and the show room that is said to happen between October and November for electronic technicians.
Many companies have decided not to participate actively in these or other events (or the fair itself) and have decided to transfer the money they would invest there in search of a better relationship with the customer by directly passing these benefits to the final buyer, who is the last target to make a sale.
Not that it is against progress, I am against the ambition of a few and (seem) personal quarrels of "to see I do something to fuck you" nor the attendees have money to go to see a show each Worse than the previous one and that only manage to tire all the actors of the industry who cannot be giving away their products at any moment only because someone goes out to say: "The other week there is fair! ".
